We all wonder .. Hmmmm? Should I eat before I workout or wait till after? If I eat before my workout what should I eat? We've all had these questions cross our mind at some point and we may have gotten a different answer every time..
ONE THING I CAN SAY THAT SHOULD NEVER CHANGE IS THE WATER INTAKE. NO MATTER WHAT YOU'VE HEARD, ITS ALWAYS BEST TO START EACH DAY WITH 2 GLASSES/CUPS (8 OZ) OF WATER.
*30 mins before your first meal* DRINKING WATER AT THE START OF Your DAYHELPS TO ACTIVATE THE INTERNAL ORGANS AND AID IN DIGESTION.
Now for your first meal breaking your fast break-(fast), could mimic my daily routine for breaking my fast before a work out. Refer to the below;
- A bowl of Fruit (alkaline fruits) *Peaches, grapefruit, mango* gives you energy and will hold you over till your next meal (Grapefruit is an amazing appetite suppressant)
- Paired with walnuts or almonds, both rich in omega-3 fats and studies show they help to improve brain health while also helping to prevent heart disease and cancer.
- Wash it down with a nice cup of tea, I would recommend one of the following as a great tea to drink for breakfast;
Chamomile lavender (One of my absolute faves)
(regular chamomile if you cant find that blend)
Raspberry leaf tea

Try exploring other alkaline fruits to add to you diet, not only for pre-work out meals, but for your entire diet.
